Perfect handheld, and actually works. I was going to return when I originally bought, didn’t think I would actually use but we actually use it all of the time on both the cats and the dog to just get the hair out of the house. Who ever said a Cavalier King Charles doesn’t shed much never owned one. This brush works great at removing loose hair and leaves his coat smooth and neat. He doesn’t seem to mind being brushed so it must not be irritating. It also has a cleaning feature that makes it easy to remove the hair from the brush. Highly recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 – Decent, but could be better!Alright, so I grabbed this self-cleaning dog brush hoping it would make grooming my black lab/pit bull mix easier… and while it kinda does the job, it’s not perfect. 🐶✨Pros:✅ The bristles do a solid job detangling and pulling up loose hair.✅ The self-cleaning button technically works—it pushes most of the hair forward.✅ Comfortable grip, so your hand won’t cramp up during long brushing sessions.Cons:❌ The self-cleaning feature isn’t as smooth as I hoped—some hair still gets stuck in between the bristles instead of coming off completely. So I end up manually pulling it out anyway. 🫠❌ Feels a little on the cheaper side—probably not built to last super long.❌ If your dog has thick fur like mine, you might have to go over certain spots a few times to get everything.Overall, it’s decent for light grooming, but if you’re dealing with a dog that sheds a lot, this might not be the best option. Would I buy it again? Probably not. 🤷🏽♂️ But if you’re looking for something budget-friendly, it’ll do the job (just with a little extra effort).Anyone else tried this brush? This quick clean brush is exactly what we needed!! Our German Shepherd sheds SO MUCH!!! I’ve never had a dog that shed like this!We’ve tried several other brushes, but they get totally clogged with hair immediately. This brush just pushes the hair right out of the bristles so you can do a much better job more quickly and efficiently. The brush doesn’t seem like it will be very durable, but so far it’s holding up well even with daily use, and the price was right. I would recommend it and would buy again.

Good brush but the bristles are spaced too far apart to get a good hang on a short haired cats hair. This is more suited for a dog.
