It works with Cricket Wireless…
I just want to start with I wasn’t sure if it would work with my wireless carrier that it is Cricket Wireless because I had a bad experience ordering a phone online (not in Amazon) in the end it wasn’t compatible with Cricke Wireless so I had to go through the process of returning the phone and I didn’t want to do that any more but this phone is completely compatible with Cricket Wireless so hopenthat helps someone if they have the same wireless carrier. In another note this my third phone after accidentally breaking two phones first one a razr 2024 then a samsung galaxy a54 5g so I decided to stick with samsung because I loved my other samsung galaxy but I didn’t want to spend so much money after my experience of breaking two that were not very expensive but also they were not cheap so I order this one and I am not disappointed works great and very responsive the best part is that worked with Cricket Wireless like I have mentioned before I am so happy that I have a Samsung phone again that is a great phone and I didn’t spend so much money. Highly recommend it it gives you phone update quite often so you are updated on the quality and performance now I don’t know much about technology at my 30’s but I know when a phone works good and this one does. I love it. Got the light grey and it’s beautiful.

An upgrade from the A13 5G phone
I recently replaced my Samsung A13 5G Phone to the Samsung A16 5G phone. Had no trouble with set up, just popped the SIM and Micro SD card from the old to the new and it worked like a charm. Got 5G from AT&T right away, and WIFI connection was a breeze. Storage is decent, but I don’t have many Apps on it. Speed is better then the A13 and unlocking is the same. Used Samsung Smart Switch to move everything over with no issues. I had my A13 for about 4 years now, so I’m sure this one will last as long. Actually, all my older Samsung phones still have decent battery life, and every Android phone I own still works. My iPhone 4 was totally dead in 3 years, my old 10 year old Motorola $35 smart phone still wakes me up in the morning.

It is decent
This phone is decent, considering how cheap it is. It works great and has yet to malfunction or let me down. Some things I discovered only after I bought it: There is no headphone jack, you will have to buy an adapter or use a wireless headphone set; The battery does not last a long time the way a brand new phone should, it lasts about as long as the phone that I replaced with this one; you cannot see the notification preview until the phone is unlocked; there are apps working in the background that turn the data on without you knowing, which is a settings thing that I have not figured out yet.All in all, it is a decent phone considering I did not want to pay too too much. None of the above prevent the phone from being used to its full capacity. They are just things to keep in mind.

Android Phone
Bought this phone for my husband. He loves how easy it is to connect to different sites and apps or whatever they’re call for an android. The battery life is good it functionality is easy to use for him. It charges the regular charging time. You can swipe to unlock it or use a code. It had a pretty good amount of memory. My husband loves it.

good phone for the money
arrived real fast, all i had to do was install sim card and memory card and was up and running in no time, this phone is faster and has more speed than the a15, just needed new case,is slightly larger screen,we will see how long this one last, ive had the A14,A15,now the A16,the A15 developed a glitch and would not turn on at times??,cheaper here at the moment, verses phone store

Really good phone
After many years of be a Pixel phone user, I finally return to Samsung Galaxy Series Where I began my smartphone journey, because I’ve had it with Pixel phones We’re each iteration upwards, seems to be worse than the previous. After reading some of the reviews about lag time, I can only state that while there is about a 1/2 second to a, it is not a game changer period. this phone is excellent economic optio for my needs and I would Not hesitate to buy another

What do you want a phone for?
I love me some gadgets! I loved my Note 9. Well… not really. I don’t like having something that constantly wants my attention. My kids are grown so leave me alone. There are a couple of apps I need to monitor. Short backstory: I am a real boomer. I was born in the first half of the last century. I remember party lines, rotary dials, and 7 digit phone numbers. Yes, thats before area codes. What I like about the A16.It didn’t cost me my first born child… I mean it didn’t cost me a months rent or small payments well into the afterlife. Its not ancient. I can make calls. I can read my health levels passively, although I’m still not getting my blood pressure cuff to talk to the phone…What I dont like about the A16The MOST annoying thing is it won’t allow me to add different ringtones to different contactss. It was annoying enough that the Note 9 didn’t allow me to change my notification sounds individually, when I could previously. I was allowed to copy contacts with different alert sounds with the Note 9. I can’t with this phone. I know… first world problems. (rant off)This phone seems like it doesn’t know if it is large phone or a small tablet. Neither do I.I am mad at myself for not noticing it doesn’t hava a battery that will charge remotely. This boomer’s hands don’t work like they did when I was 30. I have trouble with plugging the thing to a charger.I am mostly annoyed that since I bought the phone from Amazon I had to do all the assembly myself, i.e. putting sim/sd cards in and transfering data. –also my fault. I think I have it 3 stars and not 4 because my devices hate me. All of them.

Solid
Quality purchase for the price. Big screen, battery life is an upgrade, functionality is the onl reason it isn’t 5 stars. No screen record, and the phone does not like multi-tasking. Slows considerably and now and again freezes for seconds before getting back to work.
