The best portable keyboard!
This is simply one of the best portable keyboards on the market. The cost is fair, especially when you consider the quality of the product, which is so well done. In addition, they have built in almost every possible function that a keyboard can do. The mouse pad is so intuitive and functional, with a palithera of functions using direction and number of fingers. It’s just simply the best ever. I wouldn’t be without it. I had a cheaper unit that didn’t last and the Bluetooth sucked. This one is absolutely the best.

Does exactly what it needs to, and it does it well. If you’re like me and have 3 kittens, the foldable architecture is a MUST. When I need to type or use the trackpad, I simply unfold the keyboard and it is always connected before I even finish unfolding it. Brilliant, no headaches. Then I put it away when I’m done and it disconnects to conserve battery, which lasts surprisingly long. Its tiny footprint can fit anywhere. I don’t swap devices but the 3 Bluetooth device keys are very useful for those who do. Function keys are great as well, I can control my audio and everything else with ease. Trackpad is good, not a huge fan of the button feel, but the tracking and tap gestures are fantastic. Swipe up and down with 2 fingers to scroll and tap with 2 fingers for right click, that makes it more than okay in my book. Keys feel good to type on, good feedback for a membrane keyboard. Just don’t plan on using it in your lap as it will fold. Very happy with this purchase, especially at this low price point.

Huge fan of ProtoArc!
Love this product! I use it when I have to move around and work or to use it with my ASUS Ally X when it’s docked and it works great! The trackpad could be a bit better though, it feels like it has a delay. Typing is not a bad experience and pairing was a breeze. The keyboard is mainly made out of plastic so you might want to avoid dropping it. It comes with a faux leather pouch that looks very nice. I really love how I don’t have to turn it off with a button, the fact that I can just close the keyboard shut and it turns off is a wonderful feature!Giving it a 4 star because of the trackpad.I love the packaging!

Great companion for Samsung Dex
I’m using this with Samsung Dex, and it works great for me. I didn’t buy a separate mouse though; I’ve never really been a trackpad person. The battery seems to last quite a while. I charged this fully, when I purchased it and have been using it at work for over a week. (It’s not my main setup for work though, so I couldn’t tell you how long it lasts with constant use.)

Great for the cost. Easy to use, great key feel and small. Supports 3 blue tooth devices. Trackpad is good. Comes with a manual, soft case and phone stand. Surprisingly supports 5 key rollover (registers 5 keys at once) except for caps lock.

trackpad concerns
It’s a decent keyboard, but there are many good bluetooth keyboards out there. Some are more compact and lightweight.I bought it hoping to use along with a trackpad on my lap, but unfortunately the trackpad is subpar.It’s somewhat too sensitive and even on lowest tracking speed the small movements are way too big, making it very hard to aim where you want it.Multi-touch gestures are predefined for all the supported platforms (win,mac,android,ios) and cannot be changed.I’ll keep looking for the better alternative.

Day one: I’m am very satisfied with the quality and build of this keyboard. I read most of the negative reviews and I can see some validity but most of the complains seem like a lack of reading the directions and owners manual. So far this is a great keyboard, the touchpad was so sensitive that I didn’t notice i had the scratch guard that it ships with still on it for an hour. The bag it comes with is a little on the cheap side but I planned to use a hard case anyway so it doesn’t really mater. i expect to do a lot of work on this keyboard and it appears that it will hold up. It has a two year warranty and a concerned customer service department backing it up so it’s not really taking a chance to order it.

My daughter’s laptop keyboard is malfunctioning and it’s been very hard to find a replacement for it. Even Microsoft never has it in stock or can give restock estimates. In the meantime I purchased this so my daughter wouldn’t have to bring a full sized keyboard to school.She loves it cause it’s nice and compact, and just works. Pull it out, flip it ope. And she’s ready to go. I got the one with the track pad so she doesn’t even need to touch her laptop and can just move the cursor easily.It even easily connects to my phone so I can send messages and write emails easily instead of using the onscreen keyboard! One note, if you’re on iPhone make sure you flip the switch from win to Mac! Although the words look fine on my phone, when it sent out, others only saw squares in the iMessage! Once I flipped it to Mac, they saw the actual words!

I work a lot from my car so use the built-in keyboard in my tablets (Android and iPad Pro), and phone (android). When I stop by the office or a coffee shop, I wanted/needed a proper keyboard. I took a chance on the ProtoArc XK01 TP not knowing if I was going to get a piece of junk for or something that would be worth while. I was pleasantly surprised. It connected to all my devices without issues and does everything I need. The track pad was a plus and works great. Build quality of the unit is pretty good, for the price. Would I recommend it to friends, yes.

I have been searching for a way to work on the go without the need to purchase a new laptop. This keyboard was up and running connected to my Samsung phone in under 20 seconds. Satisfying to type on and let’s me write while on the go at the coffee shop of hockey rink without the need to cart my laptop. Cursor pad works on my phone making typing on a small device a dream! The travel case is lovely. A little larger than expected but still fits in a medium sized purse or larger cross body bag. Thrilled with this purchase. I haven’t tested the batter life yet but it is a c type charger so compatible with everything I already have. Amazing value for money, saved me spending 1k on a small laptop to serve the same purpose.

I bought this to use as part of my Samsung DeX setup when I travel. The keyboard connected through Bluetooth very seamlessly, and I was up and running within seconds of unpackaging. I was able to use the keyboard a good 15 feet away from the phone and there was minimal lag on both keys and trackpad. An artificial leather pouch with a magnetic clasp is included, as well as a small flip stand to stand up your phone, which is a small detail that I appreciated.Remember to remove the plastic off the trackpad, or else you will experience weird and significant lag.This looks and feels like a premium product. Packaging was solid and is an upgrade from the usual “smash keyboard” Chinese brands found on Amazon. Written instructions did not have glaring grammatical and spelling errors, and seems to be written by someone whose first language is English as there’s no awkward phrasing in any of the marketing material or instructions. Package contained a “personalized” message with a photo of its designer, which I found to be a nice touch – so much so that I bought another product from them.Fully recommend for anyone looking for a lightweight travel keyboard.
