Great product, great customer service for at-home Golden Doodle groomers!
I have two 50# golden doodles I groom myself. One has the wavy/curly coat of her standard poodle mother, the other has the straighter coat of his golden retriever father. The furMe Professional Plus FM-02 makes clipping them so much easier. I previously clipped them with a dog clipper, but the vacuum combined with clippers is genius! The motor has three speeds to increase suction. The first and second speeds are quiet, third speed is a bit noisier, but pulls the hair straighter, making clipping some of the wavier/curlier parts easier. Neither of the dogs minds the noise for any of the settings. My male lies on his back and goes to sleep while I’m trimming him. The canister is clear so I can see when it’s full as it fills up fast without any hair flying all over my room. It empties easily in the trash and reattaches quickly and I’m good to go for more clipping. I’m 70 years old and have arthritis in my hands which makes handling anything heavy for any length of time very difficult. The clipper attached to the hose isn’t heavy and maneuvers easily. I trim them on the floor and the hose is plenty long enough to get around them. If I had them up on a table, because they’re so tall, it would require a longer hose if the unit were on the floor. The vacuum itself isn’t heavy either so could be placed on a table or counter. The hose is about 6 ft long. The clipper doesn’t get hot as I’m covering a lot of real estate on these dogs! Grooming one dog can cost well over $100 so I’m saving lots of money trimming both of them every 6 — 8 weeks. I purchased this in May of 2024 so it was still under warranty in March 2025 when the clipper quit working. I was so upset, thinking customer service would be awful, I’d have a big run around, and I’d end up having to return to my old clippers without the vacuum. The vacuum still worked great, but I didn’t need the de-shedding or other functions so I was pretty unhappy. Just an aside, I had a yellow lab that blew coat twice a year. I wish I’d had this then! It would have kept me sane as I could have just “vacuumed” the mounds of shed hair!! Back to my issue: I texted customer support and got an email back within the hour!!! When does that ever happen in today’s indifferent world of customer service?! After a couple of conversations via email, doing some of the suggested tests on the machine to determine the problem and then being given a commitment to shipping me a new hose, which is all that was needed, solved the problem and I’m back to clipping again. Best Cat Grooming Tool
The best cat grooming tool made. The vacuum pulls the very fine hair up to the correct angle for the blade to cut and pulls aware the hair so you can see what is being cut. Trying to use a regular hair clipper is a disaster with cats, but this device is perfect.The design of the cords is excellent as well. The power cord wraps underneath and the vac hose wraps around and clips in.The lowest level of vac is very quiet and doesn’t disturb my cat.This is the best cat grooming tool I’ve ever used and helps keep the cat’s hair short to prevent hairballs.

Brush and deshedding works
The brushing and deshedding tools work fine for my Labrador/German shepherd mix dog. He’s a large dog; about 80 lbs. the clippers to shave him broke about two months after purchase. I would recommend seeing a groomer still if you’re purchasing this to shave your dog especially if it’s a large dog with thick or long hair. If you’re going to buy this only to maintain their hair then it’s worth the money. It does help minimize my dog’s shedding; definitely better than just a plain brush. The vacuum aspect of this helps a ton and makes the job easier. It’s not very loud even on the highest setting.

No more dog hair.
We use our FURME on our one year old Golden Retriever. Does a great job removing loose hair. She loves it. Whenever I start to set up FURME she comes over and will lie down next to me. She even changes sides without my asking her to move. She will stay quietly until I finish brushing her which is when I don’t get any hair in the comb.I always use the highest speed, which doesn’t bother her. I highly recommend the FURME.It takes about half an hour to do a good hair removal job.
