Are you looking for a reliable companion who won’t let you down at work or in your home office? The CHERRY STREAM KEYBOARD is the perfect choice.
The cable keyboard is particularly impressive thanks to the high-quality CHERRY SX scissor mechanism. This stands for excellent tactile typing feel and is particularly precise. The volume when typing on the USB keyboard has been reduced even further compared to the previous model. This makes the PC keyboard the first choice if you like to write quietly.
Thanks to the integrated metal plate and the eight rubber pads on the underside, the STREAM KEYBOARD scores with ideal torsional stiffness, stability, and durability.
The easy-to-read key labeling is abrasion-resistant and therefore remains legible even after a long time. The Office Keyboard also has ten practical additional keys for office and multimedia: Volume control, lock Windows, start calculator, etc. Three status LEDs built directly into the respective keys show at a glance whether CAPS LOCK, NUM, and SCROLL are activated.

Excellent General Purpose Keyboard, but has one flaw if you plan to use for gaming
The keys and keycaps feel incredible. I was looking for something with a key stroke and typing experience similar to what I get with my laptop. I have zero criticism towards the typing experience, maybe the keys are slightly heavy to depress, but I imagine that can be overcome with some time getting used to it.The reason I decided to return it was actually due to the size of the Ctlr, Alt, and Windows key on the left side of the keyboard. When playing games those keys being longer than normal makes using WASD and being able to easily hit the space bar a bit difficult with my thumb because the ALT key is where I would expect the edge of the space bar will be. As a result this causes the space bar to be shorter than what I’m used to with my other keyboards. For general typing and office use this keyboard should be excellent for anyone.

The Closest to a K800 You Can Buy
I’ve used a Logitech K800 for years and years, and I adore it, but Logitech stopped making it, and I couldn’t find anything that even came close…until now. It isn’t exactly the same feel, but it’s very pleasant to type on – the “scissor” mechanism creates a unique, very defined “click” feel that I really enjoy. I’m typing on it right now! It’s a wired keyboard which means I don’t need to worry about the battery dying, but it’s pretty basic (doesn’t have a backlight). Still, I’m very glad to have found it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the feel of the K800.

A keyboard that’s made to last!
Excellent keyboard! The metal housing gives it a nice weight. This thing’s built like a Sherman tank. Best keyboard I’ve ever used. Bar none.Update: It’s been a few days since I got this keyboard. Now, I have no idea what those high-end keyboards are like. But I tell you the truth, I can’t imagine how any of them cld be any better than this Cherry. Love Love Love the feel of the keys. I guess that’s the scissor action at work. I highly recommend this thing. Two thumbs up!

Very nice keyboard
Very solid build, even heavy. Nice feel to the keys with almost no noise. Bright Num Lock indicator. It’s replacing an old Monoprice compact keyboard that feels clunky by comparison. Like most keyboards, I wish I could prop up the back another 1/2 inch. Only downsides are very small symbols on period and commas keys, and parentheses key symbols that look like brackets. Not a problem for a touch typist, but I hunt and peck!

Quiet with a great low profile
I adore this keyboard low profile, none of the terrible mac style keys, super quiet and great lay out. I bought a second.

Quiet Keyboard, low profile. Good tactile feel.
This is a very quiet keyboard, but it still has a good tactile feel. The keyboard itself is very low profile, which means that it isn’t very tall. It is reasonably heavy, however, which I think helps with the feel overall. It has a similar surface to some laptop keyboards, but it definitely feels better than any laptop keyboard I’ve used. Seems like a good deal for a premium keyboard.

Feels like a winner.
Almost as good as the Logitech K740 ! Very quiet with scissor mechanism keys. The style of keys feels as close as possible to the Logitech K740 which is out of production sadly. I’m VERY picky about feel of keys, as I like to type really fast and very quietly. This feels like a low throw, more like notebook keyboard. The shortcut keys to internet and mail are great. The keys are NOT illuminated. But the price is very low for the quality, the Cherry keyboard feels like a winner.

Not for gaming
I wanted a relatively inexpensive TKL (Ten Key Less) keyboard that is of a decent quality. Since this was on sale, the price is great. I’m not sure I would have paid full price though as this keyboard does lack some features that might be expected in a more expensive keyboard. I was reassured by the Cherry brand on this one because I know they are world renowned for the mechanical switches used in Mechanical keyboards. Overall the keyboard feels nice. The low profile keys are pretty similar to a laptop keyboard rather than a traditional desktop keyboard. At this price it is obviously not a “mechanical” keyboard, and probably relies on a membrane however. They key layout on this appears to be standard. By that I mean that it doesn’t appear to have any funky shaped or sized keys that are in the wrong places. Some manufacturers seem to think it’s a great idea to rearrange the layout a little…looking at you M$oft. This makes transitioning to a new keyboard or using multiple keyboards intermittently very frustrating. I will not buy keyboards that have funky keys. The flip out feet are of a typical design, one that unfortunately can result in broken feet if you are abusive. We’ve all probably had a one legged keyboard at one point in our lives. The weight of they keyboard is good, thanks to the metal plate. Along with the rubber feet, you should have no problems with the keyboard creeping around. Many reviewers noted that the received the incorrect language version. Mine was fortunately the correct US English layout. It’s important to note that this is NOT a good gaming keyboard. It lacks any backlighting for one thing. I personally don’t like to sit in a well lit room when I’m playing games. It is also plagued with “ghosting” issues, which for a regular user in a home or office will probably not be noticed. If you’re a gamer however you might notice that holding certain keys down will prevent other keys from working. Example: holding down SHIFT, W, D…you will be unable to press R. Never mind that it might be physically difficult to do so anyway…you might be some kind of 6 fingered super dexterous gamer. There are plenty of inexpensive, backlit membrane keyboards that have less ghosting issues.Gaming aside, if you just need a good quality, compact, low-profile keyboard for typing in well lit environments then this one isn’t bad at all. I’m giving this a full 5 stars because they say right in the product description that it’s ideal for office and industrial use.

Het is een heel prettig toetsenbord ter vervanging van mijn vorige Cherry die al 20 jaar oud was en nog steeds goed werkt.

I was searching for TenKeyLess low profile keyboard for a long time. Finally I found it. This is a global delivery. But, well worth every rupee. These are scissor key switches. Their layout is perfect. Very less key travel. They are comfortable to press.I never use the numpad, so for me this is PERFECT. That numpad space is used for the Mouse. You don’t have to download any software for this keyboard. Just plug it in and work.CAPSlock and ScrollLock keys have LED indicators. You get a separate media keys row on the top. Function keys are separate. There is no “Fn” key nonsense. You have the key for right click menu.I was using Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches with my previous keyboards. They are great, but I wanted something lowprofile. Same company is now making low-profile keyboards as well. What more do I want. 🙂 Great keyboard. For gaming, maybe you can go with mechanical keyboards. But, for WFH setup and everyday use this is a super keyboard.
