I’m loving this air fryer! I searched and searched to find exactly what I “needed”. I searched so much and for so long that I literally crossed my eyes and shut my brain down. LOLI HAD to buy the one that met my exact needs, because I wasn’t returning one after another till I did find the right one. So, I weighed out my options…I wanted one that could cook more than one item at a time. I wanted one that would fit in my space, because I wasn’t going to put it in a closet and only pull it our when I needed to use it. Because we all know how that works…it never comes out of the closet. I wanted one that had a basket, a shelf, a “hot plate/skillet” and most of all a rotisserie. Yeah baby!!! I wanted every function available to man/woman. Not to mention, I wanted to glass doors so I could see what was going on inside without pulling the basked out all the time.This one met EVERY one of my needs.It takes some getting used to, because I’ve never had an Air Fryer before. This one you can use a preset button or adjust you own time and temp. I love the fact that I can cook a small pizza in it without heating up my large oven! And the convenience of using this AF vs preheating my big oven, waiting for it to take 16 minutes to cook my small pizza and then heating up my whole kitchen while it’s cooling down. Ugh! I turn the AF on, it takes a few minutes to heat up, my small pizza is done in half the time and it takes 1 minute to cool down and doesn’t heat up my entire kitchen, is GREAT!!! I LOVE the convenience of cooking multiple items at the same time (for 2 people) in a fraction of the time as a conventional oven. It sits on my counter top, so I’m using it all the time now.I never cook burgers in a skillet, don’t like the taste of it. I always gook my burgers on the grill, even during the winter. Wellllll, this winter was extra cold for a longer period of time with a lot of snow, so I didn’t go outside to do much of anything, especially cook 🙁 So I tried the “skillet/grill” thingamajig and cooked my burgers on it. WOW, they came out almost as good as if I had cooked them on the grill outside. Yay. Next, I’ll try a steak on that same surface.I’m glad I spent the extra money on this AF, it was well worth it. After all, it’s an appliance that will get used a lot, so why not spend a couple of more bucks to get the best?! I don’t like wasting money and time on products that I’m totally not impressed with. It’s either all the way, or nothing at all.Go get yourself one, you’ll be happy you did.

After years of trying different kitchen appliances, this Emeril Lagasse French Door Air Fryer has completely replaced my regular oven. The 26-quart capacity might seem intimidating at first, but it fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space – truly a case of small but mighty. I love how the heat distribution works so evenly; everything from steaks to meatloaf comes out cooked uniformly, which has been an issue with other air fryers I’ve tried before.The doors are cleverly designed to open together with just one hand, making it convenient when my other hand is full of food to cook. I’ve had other air fryers (like my old Ninja) that simply can’t compare to the quality and functionality of this one. Yes, there is some smoke that escapes from the corners of the doors during cooking, but this is actually normal for air frying – it’s part of how the food gets that perfect crispy texture. One thing I didn’t figure out right away was how to preheat it properly, as the instructions weren’t very clear on this point. For anyone wondering, you need to use grill, roast or bake modes to get the “PH” symbol on the display, run it for a few minutes, then switch to your desired cooking mode.The 25 cooking functions give so much flexibility, and I’ve found the timer alarm system really helpful – it beeps halfway through cooking to remind you to flip food if needed, then beeps again when finished. The machine actually continues running for 1-2 minutes after cooking time ends to vent out hot air, which keeps your kitchen from overheating when you open the doors. As for cleaning, most parts are straightforward, though I recommend cleaning the drip pan after each use to avoid baked-on grease becoming difficult to remove. The heating elements do require special care – just soap and water, nothing abrasive.Overall, this air fryer does everything I need and more, reducing my need for cooking oils while still producing delicious food. It’s become my go-to for nearly everything I cook, from simple vegetables to full meals, and the included accessories cover all basic needs.
