Verified Safe Diaper for Baby: We are the first EWG Verified Safe diaper, which means our diapers are made free from 3,900+ chemicals and materials banned by the Environmental Working Group. Enhanced with organic cotton and only plant-based materials cradle baby’s developing skin.
Made to Perform: Our Diapers keep baby 3x drier to reduce irritations and rash, using our FlashDry technology and Clean Air Channels. Our super absorbent core delivers leak protection day and night.
Designed for Sensitive Skin: Baby’s skin is more permeable than adults, making it more susceptible to chemical exposure. Our diaper is Totally Chlorine Free (TCF), and is made without Parabens, Phthalates, Fragrances, Optical brighteners, Latex, Lotions, or 2,800+ other ingredients banned by EWG.
Babycare Designed for a Better Tomorrow: We are the only Plastic Neutral Certified diaper brand. Our diapers are made in a carbon neutral facility, powered by green energy. We are proudly Nordic Swan Ecolabel, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, and FSC Certified.
Health Comes First: The diaper years are the most critical years for baby’s developing brain and body, so we design all of our babycare essentials to support health and connection.
Customers say
Customers find these diapers soft and comfortable, with great absorbency and no chemical smell. They appreciate the eco-friendly and EWG-verified nature of the product, and one customer notes they feel like cotton rather than plastic. The size and leakage receive mixed feedback – while some find the size 2 fits well, others say it runs small, and while some report no leakage, others mention leakage issues. The quality also gets mixed reviews, with some saying they hold up well while others find them not reliable.

No soak-throughs, no blowouts, no rashes.
We went through 3 “natural” brands with a rash and blow outs. After a box of new born and a box of 1s we have not had a blowout nor diaper rash. Our baby is a petite girl. She got on the new born at 9lbs and now the 1s at over 10lbs. I read some had blowouts with this brand so I assume it’s not the diapers but rather the baby body shape and duration the baby remains in the dirty diaper. We use around 10 diapers each day.

Like Millie Moon but a better nontoxic option than them
Big fit on my small baby, but still fit perfectly. Very soft kind of like Millie Moon. Didn’t leak, Absorbed everything well. Great option if you don’t want the other dyes and stuff in other diapers.

Probably the most non-toxic disposable diapers out there
Having become indoctrinated into the world of moderately granola dads, I care a LOT about avoiding nontoxic ingredients — beyond food ingredients and cookware, that means avoiding plastic / synthetic things wrapped around our twin baby girls, whenever possible. So of course that means glass bottles only, natural rubber pacifiers, organic mattress, cotton/wool clothes and sleep sacks only. We have ALSO been using cloth diapers, which is definitely the “greenest” diapering option possible, but this became unsustainable once we got into the sleep training phase — our night nurse advised us we needed to switch disposable diapers at night, if we don’t want babies drenched in urine over the course of that 12 hour overnight sleep we are striving towards. (Wet baby is more likely to wake up, disrupting the sleep training, etc). We also have had to take the sleep training extra seriously, given our hands are full with two newborns. After a lot of research, it was ultimately clear that HealthyBaby is the best disposable diaper option on the market if you care about baby safety — check out mommy bloggers like Mamavation and GimmeTheGoodStuff for an overview of PFAS detection, a thorough ingredient audit, etc. HB is doing the most amount of 3rd party testing (EWG etc) as far as I can tell, and HB discloses their entire ingredient list, so you can really verify line-by-line how nontoxic this is. The packaging comes in paper (not plastic wrap), and HB is a certified B Corp.We are still combo diapering (cloth diapers by day; HealthyBaby disposables by night). Although all disposables feel like a treat when you’re comparing to cloth diapers — I do find handling the HealthyBaby diapers is quick, and getting the tabs on is really seamless. The HB diapers have handled blowouts well, we haven’t had any noticeable leakages. Importantly, we’ve never had any diaper rashes, or visible discomfort from our girls. I am also using the HB cleaning concentrate for all our bottle cleaning, and their wipes — all is good.

Not true to SIZE
I ordered size 2 cause my baby is 14lbs but it was not true to size. I prefer the brand Coterie, both quality and sizing is perfection. I have a monthly subscription with them but diapers ran out sooner than usual and I needed a diaper of similar quality ASAP. Healthy baby is just as soft but it’s just not true to size, unfortunately. You will probably need to size up if your baby is we big as mine at 4 month old.

Better than Pura!
I just switched over to these from Pura because the size 2 was too small and the 3 was way too big. These are so much better!! My baby is 13 pounds and I’m using size 1 for her. The back has a little stretchy section that seems to really help avoid blowouts also. Highly recommend!

Unimpressive & Expensive
Don’t waste your money on these. Being the only EWG diaper I had high expectations for them. They are also super expensive at $0.60 / diaper vs Pura being $0.32 / diaper or BumBum being $0.40 / diaper. Pura and BumBum are both made with plant-based materials and are TCF brands. The Healthy Baby diaper is PAPER THIN in the worst way. The tabs are thin and break easily, the diaper is not very absorbent, and there is little protection against blowouts. Overall I’m not impressed with these flimsy diapers

Love!!
Love these diapers. Clean and hold up well. No leaks and very soft on skin.

Just OK diapers.
Really wanted to love these bc they’re EWG verified but we just don’t… they blow out the sides almost every time, although my baby is a newborn so maybe a baby with chunkier legs would have better luck. Not the most absorbent though, which is OK because I know they’re not filling it with all the toxic fluff but just be aware you’ll need to change them more frequently. Lastly there’s no wetness indicator line on the outside so that’s kind of a bummer. Would probably buy again simply because they’re low toxin and that’s the highest priority to me but they’re just ok.
