Customers say

Customers find these minimalist running shoes comfortable, with one noting they feel like wearing socks, and appreciate their wide toe box that provides plenty of wiggle room. They are well-designed, lightweight, and offer good value for money, with one customer specifically mentioning they’re perfect for long walks or standing for extended periods. The durability receives mixed feedback – while some find them well-built, others report them falling apart within six months.

Never going back to normal shoes – 360k steps later
After approximately 360k+ steps I can say I love these shoes and will never return to normal shoes.Sizing: I wear a size 9.5 in most standard shoes (this gave me about 3/4 of an inch of toe room. My go to’s prior were ON clouds and Adidas ultraboosts. I initially bought these in 9’s and felt that they were a tad too roomy so I downsized only to find they felt a little tight for comfort. Then I realized in the product listing the insole is intentionally removable so I removed it and found I had the perfect fit.Comfort: They are extremely comfortable you can feel how much they flex with your foot and how much more grip you get on the ground. The extra grip they give is great. The soles are thin so be prepared to feel the ground below your feet. The material seems pretty durable so far and very airy. They initially give a borderline uncomfortable amount of width for your feet but your feet quickly adapt.Quality: Not much to say. All the stitching is good. All glue seems to hold well. The rubber is flexible and shows no signs of tearing. The material itself seems good quality and is somewhat similar to what is used in ultraboosts but a little thicker and a little less elastic, but still just as breathable.Other notes: I got some elastic laces. I canning recommend this enough, the nature of the shoe makes it REALLY easy to slip on. Add some quality elastic laces and it just makes life so easy.Additionally, after wearing them for a weak I did have some muscle aches and pains but I managed to work through it and they dissipated after a week or so. Don’t push your body too hard initially. I’m in the work of physical therapy so I was able to manage my muscles a bit better than the average person likely would. After week two I suddenly regained the ability to spread my toes on command which I’ve never been able to do. I also have chronic back pain. I DO NOT recommend these if you have back pain BUT in my case they did help which I attribute to the fact that a flat shoe is less likely to put your low back into excess lordosis.Disclaimers : These are worth every penny but you should definitely transition slowly if you don’t often walk barefoot. Biomechanically speaking they place much greater stretch and strength demand on your calves so you should assess your calf strength. I’m also about 135lbs so they might wear slower for me than someone who weighs more.

This shoe is the shoe the rest of the industry refuses to make
If you’re looking at these shoes, it’s because the shoe industry has failed to provide us with ACTUALLY wide shoes AND a wide toe box, and random Amazon shoes are the only place for us. I’ll be honest: I don’t love the style and I need more stack height/cushioning than this shoe provides but when these shoes (and other random Amazon brands) are literally the only shoes that fit my wide feet and wide toe box, they get 5 stars. I have bought and returned, and bought and unable to return many, many, MANY shoes online the past year, all claiming to have both a wide toe box and be a wide shoe, and they all sucked (and were expensive!)Listen, if you need a wide toe box shoe and have wide feet, these $40 shoes get it done with very inoffensive styling. I’m grateful the shoes are extremely neutral so that they can go with any outfit.

    Good shoe.
They are very comfortable. When I am in the grocery store they squeak like I’m playing on a basket ball court. With that said the are really comfortable for my out door walks. Overall a good shoe.

    Extremely comfortable, great value
These are the best deal on shoes ever! Extremely comfortable and easy to slip on and off. I’ve had them for 5 or 6 months and wear them as often as I can. I tried to put on my old Sketchers after wearing these and the Sketchers were so uncomfortable in comparison I actually threw them out. I knew I would never willingly wear them after getting used to these Whitin shoes. I have worn these to work, somewhat against the dress code, because they are so much more comfortable than my dress shoes I could not bear to change. The tongue of the shoe is actually just one piece with the whole shoe body, which means it doesn’t get crumpled up and you can slide on a shoe with just one hand using the ample sized finger loop. This makes this particular model shoe even more convenient than others by Whitin with a separate tongue. Note that the laces are not just decorative: you can adjust them well, but because of the shoe stretch you never need to h tie them. These are great for walking or riding the bike. I personally would not use them for running; I’d worry they’d slide around a bit. But I guess I haven’t tried.Overall they look nice! But I find it’s hard to match the tan rubber color to things; I wish I’d got the black soles or grey. Next time!

Highly recommend! May consider sizing down (wide foot and still had plenty of room).
I have been using these for around 2 months now and am very happy with them. They’re my first zero-drop shoe. It certainly took some adjustment. I would recommend Googling how to transition to this style of shoe so you don’t injure yourself. But after a couple weeks, I feel great in them and prefer them in the gym. My main complain is that my heel tends to slip in and out of the shoe (no blisters though) during movements like planks, mountain climbers, and similar. I think I could have sized down. I’m a wide and ordered my normal shoe size. When I reorder, I will order one size smaller and see if that’s better. Overall, they’re great for the low cost!

I just got my new pair of shoes and it is absolutely perfect for my daily travel, very light shoes ,very comfy insoles and decent shoes with relatively low price.I would need another one as an extra shoes.

    Very nice

My husband asked me to order these in size 12 wide and he loves them. He has a bunion on his right foot so it makes it easier for him to walk in shoes that are wider but still fit perfectly to the size..He also said they’re very comfy and it was a good purchase.

The wide toe box and minimalist feel of these shoes is great. Great choice for an entry level to minimalist shoes. The removable sole can help ease you into gradually reducing the cushioning on your foot. I do not take them out in the rain or snow, the adhesive does look a bit iffy around the sole of the shoe. When they stay dry they feel and look great though.
